Kanye je tweetao: “Ne morate se složiti s Trumpom, ali rulja me ne može natjerati da ga ne volim. Oboje posjedujemo energiju zmajeva. On je moj brat. Volim sve. Ne slažem se sa svime što netko radi. To je ono što nas čini pojedincima. I mi imamo pravo na neovisnu misao.”
